· The top tray is nearly full with recently added waste.
Lots of worms are working here to speed up the composting process.
· The middle tray contains well worked waste.
The worms are nearly finished here. This tray will soon be ready for harvesting.
· This bottom tray is ready for harvesting.
Nearly all the worms have left for the upper trays and the waste here has been fully composted. (When empty this tray should be placed back on top of the stack ready to start receiving the next lot of waste.)
